TU Braunschweig
Role in the Project:
In this collaboration, the Chair of the Department of Information Management at the TU Braunschweig will lead the adaptation and design of the environment scanning system for the team. Using the Active Theory Method, as well as a software-artifact, these elements are created with the environment scanning system, which is cyclically adapted to the respective corporate context in the context of round-trip-engineering.
Profile:
The team at the Institute for Business Informatics, Department of Information Management, at the Technical University of Braunschweig works under the direction of Prof. Dr. Susanne Robra-Bissantz. The focus of research is the description and explanation of the relationship[ between companies and their respective customers. In addition, important topics such as: social media, celebrative creative systems, cooperation recommender systems, game-based customer insights and other e-service topics are being researched.

FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg
Role in Project:
The Chair for Statistics and Econometrics at the Department of Economics of the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg is responsible for the development of the systematics and algorithms of the environment scanning system for finding weak signals, trends and technologies. Using these topics, external sources of information are searched using these parameters to find trends, technologies and to identify previously unknown intellectual relationships. For this purpose, existing approaches to Text-Mining, as well as methods of applied statistics and machine learning are combined to create a method capable of dynamically updating and evaluating the given database to detect weak signals and trends.
Profile:
In the field of research, the Chair of Statistics and Econometrics deals with the analysis of large amounts of data (for example, high-frequency data from stock market trading, customer data from customer relationship management systems and error databases on software products) using machine learning methods. The modeling, analysis and forecasting of the reliability (trustworthiness, availability and performance) with a further focus in the IT security of software-based systems.
